I bought another farmall H today, and it has a 3 point hitch and a farmall loader, which I will probably remove and sell. I want to remove the 4 way valve and the 3 miles of hoses that are there now, and install the 2 way valve from my other H. This is the valve that mounts on the return port pipe, and the pressure hose goes to it, and then the two hoses go out to the plow or harrow, or whatever. I want to use this valve with the 3 point hitch. I wonder which port has pressure when the handle is pulled up, and which has pressure when the handle is pushed down. I also wonder what that little toggle on the side of the valve, next to the control lever does, and how far it is supposed to move. Any help is appreciated. My memory from the 50s is getting dim.
