We have an A(it's in peices now but ran when I was little) that has a solid wide front. The axle is heavy-walled round tubing or pipe. There's flat iron braces running down on each side to the lower portion of the spindle uprights. I suspect it may have been aftermarket or built in some welding shop somewhere, as this tractor was kind of an oddball anyway. It had been reversed to run as a hay sweep, and the weirdest part was that although it had the serial tag saying it was an A, it also had the wide left rear axle like a B.
