CNKS: I have seen both A and AI with non adjustable front axle. Not many I will grant you, but there are a few out there. By your figures, my guess would be less than 1% were non adjustable. When I did see these both round and square axle, I looked them over very closely and my opinion they had to be factory. I didn't see them together, by the way.
