Perhaps a little high for an unrestored one, but it is a diesel. With the listings on the internet, a collector in the market for one is going to find it, and is willing to pay whatever it takes. I will likely never own an MTA, because the prices are out of my range. The six letter series I have I think were very reasonable, ranging from 650 to 2250 (Stage 2 Super H). Other than the MTA's, I don't think prices for most older Farmalls are out of line, at least not in this part of the country. Most can be had for less than $2000.
