No because you will not realy be able to tell what the advance is at a given RPM and make the adjustments like if it was no the strob and if ya don't have the specyou are shooten in the dark. Best thing to do is go back to what it had before . This is and art and i have been doing dist . since i was 16 and that was many moons ago .
