My guess is that the pivot pin in your shifter is worn out or has maybe even gotten pushed out of the hole in the gear shift swivel housing. When this happens the shifter is held up out of its guides enough to where it is possible to get it in two gears at once. The pivot pin (256 919 R11) is held in with two small expansion plugs (172 529). This may however have absolutely not a thing to do with your problem, but the guys on here will certainly have some good advice for you. Bill
