Thanks Jon. I kind of thought after looking real close at the teeth on the gear that one of them appeared to be kind of slanted down a little more than the others. I ordered the magneto book from CaseIH, but then discovered that it was on the internet as another reader responded about. Thanks everyone. See if I can get this thing running now. I couldn't get the tractor started after it sat for several years in my barn, and finally borrowed the battery ignition off of my Super C to run it. It was nice to hear that old M run again, as smooth as silk at 400 RPM's. Don Mountain
