it can be done, but it wont run long! I puked a 350ci H bout a year or so ago,, Nothing was reusable. Broke the block, Just way too much stroke!! 6 inch is common in the big stroker H style engines,, it takes custom rods and pistons,, you can build a 5-3/4 stroke X 3-13/16 bore, using all IH parts, and will be good for 90+ hp easily. Stock H rods used, IH 301 pistons, Not too much block grinding,, I ran a 270 engine for years, with a H block,, now I stepped up to a 350 block, The H block was bored past the original block, and sleeves pressed in,, it leaked water into the oil pan. The 350 block is much thicker,, so no sleeves to leak. What kind of pulling do you intend on doing? ChadS
