If I remember what I was told, on the 22-36 there were three tanks, a very small gasoline tank used for starting it up, then about a 15 gallon tank that “power fuel” was put into and then about a 5 gallon take that water (yes H2O) was put into. The carburetor would blend the water and power fuel (after the tractor was warmed up on gasoline) and burn both. Seemed to increase power and let the engine run cleaner and cooler. Someone else here probably can fill in the gaps that I left.
