I have an 826 as well and have been following your posts. If your clutch is adjusted properly (reread Tractor Vet's excellent directions), then you have a tranny problem I would guess. I don't know enough to tell you exactly what, but the Tractor Vet and K.B. 826 are among the most helpful and knowledgible 826 pros on the board. I sense that you are not a super-experienced tractor tech (niether am I) but I have wrenched on cars professionally for most of my 52 years and can give you some good general advice. 1) Get the repair manual. 2) Don't cut corners unless you know in detail what's around that corner. You can't know unless you've been there! 3) Be patient. 4) Don't assume anything and don't be afraid, or get too lazy, to double, triple and quadruple check things you've already done If you follow these items, you can dog just about any trouble to a successful conclusion. This is a great board. Next week I'll be helping to put a clutch in my 826 (slipping under a heavy load and would only grab at the very end of travel) and it was the two guys I mentioned that helped me figure out the problem. Good luck!
