No where near stock,,,, But you can build a stock rod engine to run with it any day of the week. At 3500,, power really isnt an issue, when you have the HP,, its putting it to the track. If you got,, lets say 100 hp,, on a tight track,, if you dont have the balance right, that 100hp aint worth squat. A well prepped 5-3/4 stroker, with a 350 block bored to 3-13/16, with a good cam, head and carb,, you could plow with it!! Thats what you should think of when building an engine,, reliability,, Yeah, you gotta do some grinding to clear it,, but its not bad,, You go put that other tractor on a plow or a dyno under a longer period of time,, and it will blow,, either a head gasket will pop, or something more drastic,, Sounds to me, like they run on the ragged edge,, where, you dont really need to do that,, Kinda takes the consistancy out of the sport,, Think about that H you speak of,,, does it have enough power?? too much?? does it spin em out everytime? too much,, and it becomes hard to handle, but the right power can be alot of fun when it hooks up and takes you for a nice ride towards thew full pull line.
