One Key, Or Two?

Got the crankshaft back from the grinder today, for my 9 speed H, and was putting everything back togather. I had the front cover ready and gaskets all glued up when I noticed two keyways in the crank. There was only one when I took it apart, and I guess I didn't notice the other keyway next to the gear. I went ahead and bolted the cover on and checked the parts book this evening. Sure enough, it shows two. My question is- do I need to find another woodruff key and take the front cover back off to install it, or would it be safe to run with one. ken
