Farmall Super M Head Cracks

I took the head in to the machine shop off a Super M I am rebuilding and there were several cracks that showed up when magnafluxed.They are on the edge of the combustion chamber.
It is an 8060 head. Is this common? Do you think I will have problems?
I am afraid I will run into the same problem again if I get a head from the swap meet.
I have some pictures, but don't know how to post them. If anyone will look at them I will e-mail them to their account.
