Rusty, I will go Far and Wide to find something 50 years old or better to add to my " Stuff" around here. I recently realised I need a Peavy, Cant Hook. for my Business here. I looked at the new ones for roughly $100 . I put it in the back of my head and went about talking up the fact I was lookin for one . Well I found an Old Farmer who had several and he wanted $20 for one he brought out . I gladly paid him , and Im sure this will oitlast any new One I can ever buy. I needed a Top Link also, and went back to the Same Farmer for a Visit . He told me The Old ones are more expensive than he can get a New One for. I fully understand why. I have become Very Good Friends with that Farmer and we go to Farm Equipment Auctions together a lot during the year. Its amazing how you can really get a good solid Tool or Attachment for a good price . It pays to look the stuff over well, and to have a Teacher like him to Teach you what the Tractor is trying to tell you. I enjoy lookin over equipment now and seeing what its tryin to tell me . I wanted an old air tank to mount to my Trailer for holding AIR for Tractor Pulling. I found a sweet one at an auction . Full upright Compressor 80 gallon Tank and said right on it DONT RUN . I smiled and Bought the whole works for $18.Now where can you get a solid 80 gallon Steel Tank with Hubs and Pressure releif valve Welded to it for under $20 Bucks ? Chuck ...
