Just remember that there are a lot of paranoid people out there that want to stir people up. We have been tagging and keeping track of our animals for 40 years through ear tags, ear notches, leg bands, and even implants. NAIS does not mean you will have to be "stickin' your chicken" with a tag that is readable by a satelitte. It is just a uniform standardization of programs that have been in place for years. If you read the fine print, you will find that if you are a grower-consumer (and don't sell the livestock into the food chain), then you won't have to comply.
