Even if we dumped 100% of this country's grain production into biodiesel, it wouldn't even put a dent in the amount of diesel we use in this country. Same goes for using corn to make ethanol. We couldn't hope to fuel a fraction of the cars on the road in this country, even if every tillable acre in this country was planted to corn and all that corn was boiled down into ethanol.
