Have you considered doing the job yourself? Given your success with the Hydro, I see nothing wrong if you were to wade right in. Park it in your garage, put the back end up on blocks and have at it. Then you know, with your famous attention to detail, that she's right. And you know that there is nothing more reassuring than knowing she's right, top to bottom, front weights to drawbar. I would be fairly uneasy about switching out the gear transmission to a Hydro. The price may be right, but when it comes to yanking that four bottom rollover, I'm sure you'll wish you had a gear tractor. I don't know if I could stand all that whining and carrying on anyway. But then again, maybe they don't whine like the hydros in combines or sprayers... I wouldn't let what those other goons said dissaude you from posting your dilemmas. They mean no harm. We're all just trying to have a good time. Have a good evening.
