The first thing you must do is establish the model identity. The first numbers in the s/n are the "kind and code" which identify the model. I can't begin to remember kind and codes and I don't know of any web listing of this information. The number after the "B" is the actual serial number. If your guess is right all these models had four cylinder gasoline engines so no help. You can narrow the search somewhat by the transmission control location. The 354, 424 & 444 had the gear shift between your legs. The 454 and up had the gear shift controls in the fender console to your left. The ultimate source will be to find the engine ID information stamped on the engine block. This will give the engine size which should solve the question of model. If your tractor has the sheet metal intact, you could take the easy way out and compare appearance with photos of various models posted on the this website.
