It does depend alot on what you are wanting to do. The 1086 is a 414 motor the other two are 436 so that is more than injection pump setting. The 1586 is a 12 speed tractor and the other two are 16 speed. The 10 will almost for sure have dual speed pto, the 14 could have dual speed and it is unlikely the 15 would have anything but the single speed 1000 rpm but not impossible. The 10 and 14 could have diff lock the 15 wont. For tillage work even with fewer speeds the 15 is a lot tougher tractor and a better choice. For many other jobs your choice will be more on condition of the tractor and not whether it is a 10 or 14 model. The late ones did have the closed center hydraulics and when they work they are fine but they do have some problems. Around here there are quite a few 1086's that really didnt do alot of hard work. Many hours planting and baleing type of work while alot of the 14's did more heavy work. The 15 was a built to pull and most had 20.8 tires and alot of weight. I am sure that you can find a nice one of any model if you arent in a big hurry. If you have any questions just post back and someone will be able to help you out.
