Then you never got the rings to seat after rebuild . The first 30 hours is when all this takes place and brush hoggen you ran the engine at or close to PTO speed and it should have benn on varyen loads and speed . Myself when i first lite a new engine off i like to run the first 6-8 hours either on a Dyno or light to modert work varying the engine RPM and load and at times to full power and load for a short peirod this put a load on the rings as compression blowby pushes the rings out into the cylinder walls and makes them sorta bit in then after the first 10 hours change oil and filters and start worken it a bit harder til it hit the 30 hour mark with an other oil change at 20 hours after the 30hours then anything goes . On my one buddy's 706 it has 2100 hours on it since overhaul and other then the scored piston from the wrong gas last spring it does not have this probelm now Vernons with around 4200 hours on his it is starting to weep oil around the pulgs and we were just talken about that last monthe along with the selfinflickted chiped tooth on reverse because he dropped the park lock while it was still moving as to fix the tractor or scrap it .
