No this is common but i bet ya that they never checked the block . Ya should see how bad the blocks on 806 and 1206's warp that is why and again that ya have to check on them 99% of the time ya have to bore the block and install the .010 oversize sleeves just get it stright and round and the heads have to be done then ya got to get the valves set in the head just wright these things are getting old and blocks and heads warp even the line bore needs to be trued . When we did Eugene's it got everything . even a custom balance job sure did smoothe that one out and gain some extra power . But maybe we got to carried away on that with the C Cing of the head the balance job and rebuilding and blueprinting of the cam .Hey it is only money .
