H live hydraulics

The question is this:

I know the Super H with live hydraulics has a beefier gear under the front cover to handle the load of the hydraulic pump. Does anyone know of a S/N break where this was added to the H? I've heard before in this forum, that some of the later H's had this heavier gear despite not having live hydraulics. I want to add live hydraulics to my tractor and just want to have an idea of what I will need for success on the first attempt.

Also, what if any, changes are required for the ignition system (i.e. distributor mounting). It currently has the factory horizontal mounted distributor.
