I got a quote of $3000 to replace the TA in my Farmall 656D. I ended up purchasing the rebuild video. I am in the process of splitting the tractor now - will let you know how it comes out. It isn't a particularly hard process, just moving some weight around so you have to be careful. My guess is that I will have less than $300 in parts when I am done. That is gasket sets, rear main seal, and parts to rebuild the TA myself. Regards, Tip
