There are two oval shaped wing bolts on the side of the oil pan. The higher one is for the "Full" level of oil and the lower one is the "Add" level which is one quart low. the "wings" turn counter clockwise and may be pretty tight as most folks tighten them with a pliers so a pliers is usually needed to loosen them. Back off the lower one about 1/2 to 1 turn and, if the oil drips, it's ok. When filling it up afte a change or if it's low, open the upper one and when the oil drips then you are full. Retighten and you are good to go.
