Here is a Farmall M with a 3116 Cat that was in the photo ads a while back. I guess a 5.9 Cummins would be OK. It all depends on the tires and weight and what exactly you are doing with it. I think the 4bt would be perfect (5.9 with 2 cylinders cut off).
