i have a couple tractors converted with 12v gennys. the lhdb lite switch was used with the cut out regulator. with your system with the vr you do not wire thru the light switch. your bat wire will run from the battery, thru the ammeter and on to the bat term on the vr. if you have a 4 terminal vr, you will have L-lights, Batt-battery, F-field and usually on the opposite side or under the vr the A-armature. 3 terminal wont have the L for lights.
