Replacing the front seal in the transmission you will have to take the bolts out that hold the clutch pedal and left brake pedal loose as the shaft is hinged on a boss at the bottom of the tourque tube before you split. You need to roll either the front with engine or block it and roll the rear. After moving apart 6in or so you then can unbolt the drive shaft by removing either 2 of the four bolts. These bolts have a tapered shank. A good blow will loosen them up. Then the yoke should be removed with a puller. The seal is right behind the yoke. Check for side play in the bearing as you mite want to replace while you are split. You can tell if the seal is bad as there will be leakage running down to the bottom of the tranny case.
