I agree Dave, It's kinda like the "$1 per pound" for front-end weights. Quite by accident, I found out that you can buy 'em all day long from machinery dealers for as little as $200 for a full-12 set on the right day. They've got 'em lying behind their shops; row after row in stacks and they are nothing but a darned nuisance to these places. Don’t ask a “collector” what something is worth; they have a somewhat inflated view on their chosen hobby. Take the little L John Deere tractor for instance. :>) Of course, on the other hand, the pricing can work in the opposite direction too. I recently bought an old truck in the middle of wheat country. Got ripped right up the middle of the solar plexus on that darned thing. Ouch! Oh well, just had to have it. :>( Allan
