Farmall 400 T/A question

This is a follow-up to a posting a few weeks back. I had a chance to get a 400 that had the clutch out due to the fact, that they tried to pull start this tractor with the T/A engaged. My question is this..I know you have to split the tractor to get the clutch repaired, but is it better to do that and put it together and hope the T/A is okay or just put a T/A elimination kit in it and be done with it? I wouldn"t really use the T/A. This tractor is just gonna be used for bush-hogging, pulling a scrapper, boom pole, auger, etc...What is the best way to do this?
