Jerry, that's a nasty looking crack. Don't think I'd try to fix it. Don't think it could be welded accurate enough to get all the bolt holes lined back up with the head, plus not getting it welded back perfect is going to stress it when you bolt it up, causing it to crack again as soon as it gets hot and expands.
