Jerry, Get yourself a wooden dowel about 8 -10 inches long that fits inside the pilot bearing and the splines in the clutch disk. It doesn't need to be a tight fit, but it can't be too sloppy either. Put the clutch together with the dowel in the pilot bearing. Slip the disk over the dowel and put the pressure plate on and tighten it down until it holds the disk against the flywheel. Then take the dowel out. When you put the tractor back together, put the transmission in neutral and the PTO in gear. Line everything up and have somebody rock the PTO shaft back and forth by hand as it goes together to get the splines to mesh. The PTO will turn the transmission shaft. I've done it this way several times and it works. I've even done it by myself, but it's easier with a helper.
