The methods Thomas Windsor describes are methods that Ive used to get rust out of fuel tanks I have even put large ball bearings and even rocks in them and shook them around to beat the rust losse and washed out with kerosene. There is an excellent fuel tank sealer that will prevent further rusting on the POR 15 products website called U.S. standard fuel tank sealer and if you clean your tank and use this sealer you will completely remedy your problem. Let me know how it turns out..... RIVER BOTTOM FARMER
