WD9 Precup removal. Any suggestions?

I'm working on a WD9 that as you might suspect, had a cracked head. Well I finally found another head but the last person to work on it installed the precups a half-turn out of whack. Who knows how long it has ran like that, and could do again but I can't put something together wrong and want to remove them so they can be installed correctly.

The trouble is; how do I get them out? I had to build a puller to get the injectors out and they came out HARD so I imagine the precups are stuck just as bad. Any suggestions?
