The pattern for shfting is: R 2 4 N 1 3 5 Put it in 5th (right and toward you in the seat) Rocking the wheel means violently moving the top of the tire forward and back against the point at which it stops. This bump loads the engine through the drive line. Looking into the cylinders with a bore scope (gun tool) or other viewing method will also provide info that lets you know to pull it apart and fix what is stuck. If one cylinder (or more) will not fill up with fluid (holding most of the fluid for at least an hour), there is no chance it can be freed, pull it apart. Good luck. Tractor "diving" requires willingness to get really dirty. If it has been out in the rain/cold, for years, it will require a teardown. JimN
