I have never hauled anything bigger than a Super H, but the best weight distribution is when driven on frontwards. I did put an H on backwards once, simply because I was not used to the clutch and felt safer loading it rear first. The front wheels were barely on the trailer. Any further up and there was too much weight on the rear of the truck. With a load equalizing hitch that might change.
