Has anyone looked at a WIX/NAPA spin on filter for an H/300/350? 2 tiny pin pricks is all thats to allow oil to pass.As compared to the CASE/IH filter which looks a lot like a normal spin on automotive type filter.I could understand that WIX (was Dana Corp, now Afinia)probably wanted to restrict how much oil gets to the filter and bypass most of it to the critical engine parts, but the whole idea of having a filter is to filter the oil,not keep oil from it.And if it was such a great idea, how come CASE/IH's genuine filter is still made with large openings? In my opinion,I would stick with the C/IH filter on the spin on conversion models.
