Thanks for all the responses. Someone suggested switching to 12V. The reason I don't do this from the start is because the engine was stuck and we found a lot of water in it and I want to see if it will run before I commit the money to convert to 12v. I imagine I will need a lot of juice since it will be the first time it will have ran in a long time (if it starts at all...).
