If I understand that the two cubs are NOT from the family then I would think that as your sons got older the C and H would mean alot ot them. You could sell them on the fact that the C and H are bigger and they will be bigger soon. I have a C and SC that my Grandpa bought new in 1951 and 1954. I am not in the farming business (I'm a teacher), but they mean the world to me. I feel your sons would be as attached as I am. After saying all of that, I also have a wife and know that things aren't always that simple. Make your best decision and don't dwell on it.
