Hi Mike,

The pump output goes to the input of the priority valve. The "exhaust" port on the valve then feeds the rest of your hydraulic system and in this circuit is where the pressure regulator would live. Also, this circuit will have to dump to sump.

The "out" port on the priority valve goes to your power steering motor and then that motor is exhausted to dump separately.
