Hello; Does the steering arm that the tie rods bolt to, does it look long enough. The longer the steering arm the more it will swing to the right and left. Or was there not enough room or clearance for it. So it was shortened to fit? try to compare the length to another D17. All so count the total number of turns the steering wheel makes from right to left on both tractors to make sure its not in your gear-box good luck Tom
