Novice to Farmalls

Please don't laugh at the following questions. I have restored a 1950 A-C Model B, converted to 12 volts system, and added a 3-point hitch. I love using it around my little farm, but want to start another project.

I am looking to buy a Cub Low-Boy to convert to 12-volts and add a 3-point hitch kit to use with some of my 4 foot 3-point hitch implements. Essentially, it will be for small jobs. I just want another little tractor to use and enjoy. I have a Kubota, but the old tractors seem a whole lot more fun to use.

My novice questions are as follows:

1. Are parts for the Low Boy any harder to find than for a standard Cub?

2. What size PTO shaft is on the Cub and what speed does it turn?

3. Can you adapt the Cub PTO for use with standard 3-point PTO implements if you install a 3-point hitch adapter kit(i.e. 4 foot rotary or finish mower)?

4. Are there anything about the Cub that I need to be wary of when I find one that I may want to buy? Any odd behaviour characteristics I need to know about?
