It is going to take a photo or a much more detailed descrition. There is a Tractor Photos section in the Galleries to the left of this page. You might also look through the Photo Ads under the Marketplace section to the left of this page. IH/Farmall had a diesel as far back as the MD and its variations such as the SMDTA. Information such as the number of cylinders and the location of some of the major parts such as type of gear shifter, its location, and the number of gears. Is it a gas start? On some of the bigger diesels it would help to know where such things as the oil and fuel filters, etc. are. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
