I would reduce paint with up to 10% enamel reducer. Naptha may be fine, never tried it. I would use the hardener too. If you want it shinny for years I scuff it the next day with a 3M scotch brite pad and clear it with urethane. If you are not into shinny forget the urethane. Urethane adds to costs fast.
