My 53 Super M seems to have a constant battery drain. I can charge the battery up but after about 24 hours it"s down again. I"ve checked as much of the wiring as I could for a possible ground but haven"t found any. A while back I changed the battery out (new one) and inadvertantly reversed the polarity on the cables. I corrected that issue and ever since my ampmeter has shown a constant discharge, even when running. I repolarized the generator and even replaced the voltage regulator thinking I may have damaged it but ampmeter is still showing a discharge even when the ignition switch is off. Is there anything I may have missed here? Thanks for any advice.
