I have no clue--The only factory plug that is in the block is for draining the coolant. I suppose someone could have added a second plug to circulate the coolant for a block heater to warm it up before starting in cold weather. You do not check the oil level in the block, the block does not have an oil level, only oil for the pistons, cam, etc -- I strongly suggest you get an operator's manual. You sure you have FARMALL M?
