Well are ya letting it warm up good ? updraft carbs do not have and accelator pump to fatten up the mix on accel . also check your ing. timming for full advance at full throttel . And run the valves again myself i always go back over them as there is always one that is just not wright and when doing a valve adjustment look for ware on the rocker arm as if you do not get the feeler gauge in between the rocker and the valvestem just wrigh and have that in the wright spot then you will have a bridgeing affect and have a couple loose ones. Adjusting valves is and art and it take time to get it down just wright.
