I finally finished the overhaul on the 300 and much like River Bottom Farmer I was very excited when it fired right up and purred like a kitten. This was my first major engine overhaul. I've been working the last 2 weeks gettin her ready for paint,I just layed down the first 3 coats and she looks great. (I will add a couple more tommorow I Hope) I want to thank Kelly C for the encouargement to tackle this project and Tractor Vet for his engine tips as well as all of you who have been a great help. I have read and printed many post as they apply to me and they were a big help. I will attenpt to post pics when i'm done. Sorry for the long post i must be EXCITED Rick
