I've heated a lot of those hubs and others on other tractors will no negative effect. I usually do not have to heat them red hot though. Here is my technique, but if your not planning on ever doing this again it may be cheaper to take it to a machine shop: I put an OTC 1130 bearing splitter on the hub and pull on it with an OTC 938 17&1/2 Ton Push-Puller. Jack both sides of the rear end up and put jack stands under each axle housing. Rotate hub and gently start heating (kinda sounds like dinner). As the hub heats up add pressure to the push-puller. ALWAYS STAND TO THE SIDE OF THE HUB! When it comes off it will come off with a pop and some force. If you trust yourself enough you can use the tractor's own power in first gear to rotate the hub for you, BUT make sure the tractor is jacked, blocked and properly secured first. Otherwise, have somebody spin the other tire, your hub should rotate in the opposite direction for you. If you already haven't gotten the broken bolt out, use left hand drills to drill it. If the bolt isn't bottomed out, all the torque was released when the head broke off and sometimes left hand drills will catch the broken part and unscrew it for you. If not use easy-outs after drilling. Szrachnor
