There is really not that much to getting to the gears. support the front of the tractor behind the front axle becouse you will have to remove it. big nut on the front of the gearbox holds the steering shaft in. have to remove steering wheel and it comes out the front threw that hole. i beleive there are six bolts that hold the bottom cover on. remove the front steering arm and drop the bottom cover. you can get the rebuild kit on this site. unless it is different than my super a, than it should be pretty straight forward. probably a worn woodruff key is cousing most of the play in the steering arm.
