I would pull the plugs to be on the safe side. Then see if the engine will crank. If that starter has a solenoid it could be the problem too. Make sure your tractor is out of gear and take a flat blade screwdriver and short across the small terminals on the solenoid. It should crank. If it doesn't pull the starter and connect it to a battery. Then short across the small terminals to see if the starter drive (bendix) flies forward. Just touch these terminals to see that. Keep your hand or fingers away from that end of the starter. Hal
